Valentine throw - Completed

This pattern is free from Redheart and it is called My Valentine Throw. Need a good wash now to loosen the fibers and all will be set.

Sophie´s Universe - CAL 2015

When I decided to start this CAL the only yarns I had handy in several different colors and available was Lana Stop. It is a 100% acrylic although it could be mistaken for cotton due to the fiber texture. I really like the Lana stop Brand as it comes in many bright colors which this specific CAL calls for.

Thank you to Dedri from Lookwhatimade, she has graciously offer the Sophie´s Universe CAL 2015 for free. I just started to do it on my own few days ago and it is turning out much better then I thought it would due to the fact that I don´t really know how to combine colors, always struggle when it comes to that; reason why I always go "earth tone"...can´t go wrong there. But this time I took the big plunge and with my mother´s help, I chose the colors and I think it was not a bad choice of hues and tones after all.

So far I have just finished Part 5 - Round 44 and ready to keep counting. But if you would like to be part of this Universe I invite you to start here.

Crochet pieces - Part ONE

It, s been a while since I have posted something and it is not because I have gave up on my needles...oh!no! far away from that I have been busy, busy, busy working not only with my needles but had to bead few stuff as well. My plate is so full and I have not got the time to take pictures and post them on the blog...but I will be able to do so very soon.

Actually I am working on a Irish crochet dress or maybe I should say a crochet dress as all the pieces are not necesarily irish crochet but more likely plain crochet. Anyway I have crocheted dozen of motifs and yet more to do in different colors and different yarns. Although I have in mind the model I want to make but still have to make up my mind on what yarn and color to use...and Hey!. it does not really matter how many colored pieces I crochet as I am sure they will not go to waste.

The following were the first motifs I crocheted but since then the pile outgrow about 200 hundred more pieces and I will post them later.

Pinky hat

I think I should pass a nice ribbon through the slots and also hadd a flower. This is a hat for a toddler made in crochet.
